If you'd like to meet up with others, you can browse the tags which are sorted by city, state/province, and country. However, it would also be helpful to make a post with the following information, so other people can find you. It ain't gonna work very well if no one posts, although I understand some are more cautious than others.
::When posting:: 1. Subject line- your city, state/province if applicable, and country. No city is too small! You never know. I've found over the years that it's a smaller world than you think. If you are a university student, you might also want to include this. Finally, if you have a secondary city you spend time in when home from college, when visiting friends, whatever, also include it in the subject line. Basically, any information you want added to the tags should go here, just to make it easy for me. Bear in mind your mod lives in the United States, and is most familiar with large American cities and smaller cities in the Southwest. If you live in a country that is not the US, I might need slightly more information about your location just to make sure the tags are right. Bear with me.
2. What exactly are you looking for? Someone with a huge TV to go watch with? Someone to come hang at your place? Someone to meet up with you on Fridays and talk about the episodes? Something else? All of the above?
3. A little bit about yourself. Do you really like cheese? Are you a huge fan of Dean? Prefer Sammy? Enjoy bungee jumping? Great!
4. Anything else you think is important for everyone to know.
::Misc info:: *other posts on the vague subject of meetings and Supernatural ("hey, anyone in Chicago wanna meet at UC on Monday?") are totally cool. If you're not sure, ask. *advertising for other communities is at my discretion. Please ask me first.
Wanna affiliate? Just drop the name of your comm to that post. I'm especially interested in local communities. Also, drop names of any local SPN comms that I don't have listed there so I can contact them.
spn_meetup was just created with a slightly different organizational method, so go check that one out.
